Technorati link bug fixed
Posted by on January 17, 2007
Technorati has just announced:
We fixed a bug, link counts increased: Over the past weeks we’ve done some digging around in the depths of the search system. The other day, we found and fixed a persistent bug.
As a result, nearly everyone’s link counts will increase, as will authority figures. These new figures are more accurate. If you see any more cases of links that we don’t seem to be finding, please let us know!
Ah, that explains why I jumped from 4500 to 3500 overnight.
Jumped? Don’t you mean fell? Or should you have ordered those numbers the other way round?
Perhaps he is referring to his rank, in which case it would be a jump.
Boaster! But I’m not whining: I went up 7,000 places in a week without assasinating anyone, for once!
@Darmok
You’re probably right.
@rain
Good on you.
FWIW as of tomorrow I’m beginning a mass deletion of my other blogs. In the end I’ll keep this one and one other which has been “private” but which will go public and be css customized.
How can you “jumpl from 4500 to 3500??”
Reading your post was like wonderful shower (in good sense of a word)
Thank you.
As you are surprised, let me explain. That isn’t a joke. As English is my native language and lots of words are unknown to me, I hear a rhyme at first and only then the content appears.
I know a little about the links, but your words sound nice. That good music. Thank you.
Sorry for grammar mistakes. I read English with the vocabulary. My native language is Lithuania
Thanks for your kinds words Tomas. Your grammar mistakes do not phase me. After all I regret that I know only one language and you know two. That’s something to be proud of. Something else to be proud of is your wonderful images.
