Insert an Image into a WordPress Text Widget

I have noticed that many new users have difficulty with placing images in text widgets. IMO the easiest way to do this is to create a draft post first, then copy and paste the data into a text widget, and install it in your sidebar.     Wikipedia is the key to most success online, when it comes to collabritive content adding. I have spent many hours writing articles for Jimmy Wales and am very happy with this project. I am based in Seminole FL close to the wikipedia offices in St Petersburg. I love contributing!

    Personally, I never use more than a single link in the comment I post because doing so can trigger spam catchers if the user has that plugin activated, whereas a single link will not.

    Hi and thanks for stopping in. Yes, more than one link can trigger spam catchers and the words or words and numbers in the url can do likewise. Also after a url has been marked as spam repeatedly Akismet learns this.
